My stay at Peppers Silo in Launceston was quite enjoyable with stunning views and a comfortable room but had a few hiccups regarding service. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the modern amenities and the unique design of the hotel. I did face some issues with the service during dining, but overall, I found it to be a pleasant experience.

While the staff were mostly friendly and attentive, there were moments of oversight, especially during dining service, which affected the experience a bit.

The hotel is conveniently located near the waterfront and a short walk from several great riverfront restaurants, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining

While the breakfast was innovative and delicious, the lunch and dinner menu lacked variety. I found myself longing for basic options like pizza or pasta.

My stay at Peppers Silo was wonderful overall, with spacious rooms and a fantastic dining experience, though I faced some minor disappointments with the room view and chair comfort. The staff were friendly and welcoming, enhancing my overall experience significantly.

Rooms

The room was spacious, well-lit, and comfy with a super comfy bed and great pillows. However, the easy chair was not very comfortable, and I faced a disappointing view of the car park and cement plant.

6.4/10

I found my stay at Peppers Silo to be a mixed experience. While the room was spacious and comfortable, it lacked some basic amenities and the bathroom could use better lighting and storage options. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the scenic riverfront and a playground for kids. However, I faced issues with hot water, which significantly impacted my stay. Overall, I think the hotel has potential but needs improvements, especially considering the price point. 😊

Rooms

The room was extremely spacious and comfortable, but it missed some basic amenities. Also, the bathroom lighting was inadequate.

Dining

While the dining options were available, I felt the restaurant was overpriced, and breakfast inclusion was confusing.

I had high expectations for my stay at Peppers Silo, given its unique design and concept. The amenities were satisfactory, but my room's view and bathroom left much to be desired. Overall, while I enjoyed the spaciousness and some pleasant perks, it felt more like a business hotel rather than a luxury escape.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious, yet the furnishings were pretty standard and lacked character. I was on the second floor with a view of the car park, which was disappointing. The bathroom didn’t feel luxurious at all; it was dark and clinical, and there were no robes provided.
Service
8.0
I found the service to be very pleasant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated during my stay, especially when there was an issue with water pressure.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located right on the river, making it easy to access attractions and the city centre with a pleasant walk. I loved that there was good free parking available on-site.
Dining
7.0
The dining options fell short for me. While the ambiance in the restaurant was nice, the dinner menu was limited, and breakfast was quite basic. I ended up eating out for breakfast on multiple occasions.
Facilities
7.0
I appreciated the on-site parking and room service options. However, I think there’s room for improvement in terms of the offerings and amenities like a Nespresso machine in the room.

My stay at Peppers Silo was absolutely wonderful. The staff really made my experience nice with their genuine hospitality and attentiveness. While the location is a bit of a walk from the heart of Launceston, I enjoyed the scenic stroll and the lovely views along the river. The only minor downside was that the breakfast menu could be clearer for prepaid guests, but overall, I found the experience good.

I stayed in a Gorge River Deluxe Room, and I loved the industrial charm and comfort of the bed. The bathroom was functional with nice toiletries, although I did miss having a bath. The room also came with a complimentary gin and tonic, which was a nice touch.
